Brock has a wealth of experience spanning nearly every major nonprofit sector in North America. As a direct marketer, he managed digital and print campaigns in healthcare, education, multiple Olympic Games, humanitarian and domestic aid, and the environment. As a senior leader on the frontlines, Brock's efforts have largely been in international development, and mental health.
His book "From the Ground Up: Digital Fundraising for Nonprofits" released in September 2020 is a bestseller, with copies sold in over eight countries.
Brock was a founding co-chair on the board of Relay Education, a charity educating young people about their environmental impact and the value of renewable power in our daily lives.
Brock completed his undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by a postgraduate certification in Fundraising and Volunteer Management at Humber College in Toronto. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), as well as a longstanding member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Toronto Chapter. He has also obtained the bCRE-PRO designation for a professional-level proficiency in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.
More recently, Brock has been completing his Certificate of Leadership Practice from the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Their courses emphasize new ways of thinking and doing to build purpose-driven initiatives and institutions, and are informed by artistic and Indigenous perspectives throughout the programming.

In fundraising, your value proposition is everything. A strong call-to-action drives revenue growth, which enables you to deliver your programs and services.
